Tahumakakanui ki runga is still running supertribal conferences but venues and modes have changed to suit the ability of tribes to participate. They happen monthly. Tourism Attraction projects are about to get underway too there. Marae Stayovers fully catered for, fishing, hunting and tribal life expeditions included overnight - weekends.
Tahumakakanui ki te pu has begun organising its marae and hapu for Ngai Tahumakakanui supertribal entity inclusion. Regular hui happening. And the same thing in Tahumakakanui ki raro.
Regional Operations: Events.
Regional Offices have been set up in each region and National Office is now fully established, including Wellington Branch. Home offices are no longer used except as research bases for training and research projects to continue because of limited space. Branches in Kaikoura, Waipukurau, Heretaunga and Te Wairoa exist now also.
Establishments in Ahuriri, Heretaunga and Te Mahia have been relatively smooth. Compared to Te Wairoa they have gone so much better. Tahu Matawhaiti are teina descendents also of Ngai Tahumakakanui.
National Operations: Panui.
National plans and regional aims ensure already the establishment of a runanganui and supertribal incorporation from throughout all 3 regions will develop over the next 2 years. It will appoint a president and vice president also of the incorporation. And will exercise national governance over all supertribal consistencies.
The incorporation and runanganui will ensure greater efficiency in the running of operations. It will also ensure that the international multi-establishments are developed both rigorously and tactfully.
